I design with a focus on clarity—of space, proportion, and material. My work moves between architecture, furniture, and object design, grounded in a sensitivity to atmosphere and how form carries emotion. I’m drawn to the quiet strength of objects, the spatial weight of materials, and how design can shape the way we feel, not just function. Whether it’s a single piece or a full interior, I approach each project as a study in restraint, composition, and presence.

Dream a lot, but don’t sleep too much

Alongside this, I’ve led U.S.-based design and engineering projects from concept through delivery—translating architectural vision into technical execution. I manage documentation, coordinate across teams, and bring projects to life with structure and precision. But even in that realm, I design with care, bringing coherence to processes that often fragment. My ability to move across scales and disciplines helps me protect both design quality and delivery integrity.

At the core of my work is a belief for the physical and the spiritual balance. I design to connect systems with intuition, and detail with atmosphere. For those who care about feeling as much as finish, about rhythm as much as resolution, my work offers that space: where function meets intention, and design becomes both tactile and meaningful.

Experience

Jr. Project Manager | Design & Engineering Team Coordinator.

Fortis Engineers | Remote United States | 2023 - Today

I led multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of over 50 commercial MEP projects across 15 U.S. states, producing code-compliant construction documents and navigating complex city permitting. Managed full project lifecycles—from proposals and RFIs to submittals and QA/QC—ensuring alignment with IBC, IPC, NEC, and IMC standards.

Collaborated closely with architects, engineers, and clients to resolve technical challenges while preserving design intent. Developed firm-wide Revit templates and BIM workflows, reducing delivery time and minimizing city review comments. Introduced internal coordination systems and permit strategies that significantly improved both team efficiency and client satisfaction.

Atmospheres, Objects and Furniture Designer | Production Manager

Katachi Studio | Northern of Mexico | 2020

Founded and lead an independent design studio focused on furniture and object design. Developed original pieces through hands-on fabrication and collaboration with local artisans, managing design intent, production quality, and material sourcing. Work was exhibited at Mexico Design Week 2021, gaining national visibility.

Also consulted for other studios, offering design-to-fabrication support, creative direction, and technical refinement. The studio operates as a platform to explore form, atmosphere, and the intersection of craft and systems.

Object Designer Intern

Algo Studio | Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mx. | 2021

Supported the design and production of custom furniture and objects, developing technical drawings, material studies, and fabrication plans. Contributed to the hands-on manufacturing of exclusive pieces, applying both traditional and experimental techniques. Helped produce high-end objects for international showroom exhibitions, with a strong focus on materiality, craftsmanship, and detail.

Architectural Design | Public Sector Design Drafting

Department of Public Building and Construction | Torreón, Coah., Mx. | 2018

Drafted architectural layouts for the renovation and expansion of public school facilities across Torreón. Coordinated design proposals with educational programming to enhance usability, accessibility, and student experience. Integrated spatial and technical elements across disciplines to meet municipal guidelines and public sector standards.

Inédito Mexico Design Week – Selected Exhibitor, 2021

Presented original object designs as part of Mexico Design Week 2021, gaining national visibility within the contemporary design scene. The exhibition highlighted a hands-on, material-driven approach rooted in craft, atmosphere, and spatial storytelling, and fostered new connections with design professionals, studios, and manufacturers across Mexico.
